hari ni sy nak ucapkan tahniah kpd para suami yg mampu menemani isteri mereka ke KK untuk menjalani pemeriksaan,x kire lah pemeriksaan mengandung atau just nak inject anak je..
tepuk2 (i like!!)..hehe

well,today am still in KK Dengkil,and tag with Dr Hafiza.best sgt,syukur..she ask simple2 ques je..der,kiteorg ni boleh terlupa!!year 3 nye subject tu..haha..kantoi2 slalu main..isk2

Dr Hafiza ni MO (medical officer) MCHC (maternal child) kat KK Dengkil.lembut ok org dia..married with 2 children, wife to an engineer, product from UM.. byk gak kami berkongsi cerita, ala kat KK xramai patient ptg td, so mang best la duk ngn Dr nih..

jadiknye, patient yg dtg pon adalah golongan2 ibu2 mengandung untuk buat mecial check-up or ibu bw anak nak injection.im very proud to see husband2 pon duk sama beratur amik giliran,teman wife masing2, pgg baby, and those things..hehe..meaning,still man in Msia is very good in term of relationship with family..sanggup amik MC just to temankan anak dia minum ubat cacing..sanggup amik short leave just to hold the baby while the mother doing their consultation..isn't it a great view in KK!

owh,bahagia nye rasa hati..hehehe
well,ada jugak preggy mother yg terpakse naik bas sendiri,jalan kaki naik bukit (KK Dengkil atas bukit plak tuh) semata2 nak wat medical check-up nih..sian..husband keje jauh..majo yg dtg sendiri ni pun is from a poor family background.low socio-economic..sedey2..rasa mcm nak tlg amik and anta kan je patient yg x mampu nih..

and don't be surprise to see patient yg abused by his husband..mintak dijauhkan kan?hem..cmne husband tergamak sakitkan isteri dia ek?that's why i keep berdoa not to have a hot-temper man..xnak yg ske mara2..hukz..takotzz..

agak2,kalo preggy dr yg nak wat antenatal check-up ni,ada x husband nak ikut teman?(hem,wondering gak nih)..huhu

1. what is the average weight gain by the pregnant mother?
for the first 5 month,should increase 1 kilo per month. and 0.5kg for the consecutive week.

2. what is physiological jaundice?
immature liver.(senang ingat,sila explain sendiri)

3. what is GDM and indication for MOGTT?
gestational diabetic mellitus (GDM) : mom dpt GM in pregnant, b4 pregnant xde pon DM..
so,screening using 75gm glucose +250ml water at least once at >24 weeks..OGTT values for pregnant lady same with impaired glucose intolerence (IGT). pre:6.1-6.9..post: 7.8 - 11.0
indication:

• BMI>27
• previous big baby or weigh 4kg and above
• previous GDM
• 1st degree relative with DM
• bad obstetric history
• glycosuria at 1st prenatal visit
• current obs prob( essential HT, PIH,polyhidromnions, current use of steroid)
• age > 25

4. what is PIH?
pregnancy induced hypertension where mom's bp is >140/90mmHg, at 20 completed week.(hapal minggu tu skali)

5. what is placenta previa?
the placenta attached to the uterine wall close to or cover the cervix, at 28 completed week.


6.what do u check in 3 month preggy mother?
3 bulan mommy baru buat booking date,buku merah and baru buat sume screening test, why 3 month?bcoz da confirm baby dlm perut, no abortion or miscarriage..ok,hem kite nak check for placenta previa, wpon PP can occur at 22 week (ikut WHO)..bleeding at this time of period,suspect PP..

k tu je la perkongsian ari ni..hehe,,

this week, what can i say, even today is just day 2, alhamdulillah, im happy with my life..

1. smlm, Tun Dr Asmah, istri Tun Mahathir came to our college and give a talk regarding medical field..she is 80++ (imagine how she can stand for hour and giving us beautiful yet inspiring lecture to us), and she's very adorable...her visit to CUCMS make me happy=)


2. yesterday night, my parents got urgent meeting around KL,so she need my help to look after my youngest sis and bro.of course there's no problem with me!!.Ain baru je abis UPSR, so dia mcm happy sgt..no more lecture from her sisters after this..hehe..

ain 12 years old big girl,luqman hakim 3 years old small handsome boy

we went to Alamanda, just to have fun..bawa akim main playground.main kat funland..main pusing2..know what, akim is a matured little boy. he's very active, yet sume org nak pegang2 dia,nak borak dgn akim..even he likes certain toys very much, he kept saying,'yaya,akem nak train ni,nak lorry tu, nak aeroplane yg ni', but when i said,'ok,kite pgg je..boleh tgk je ok..yaya xde duit,nnt kite bawa baba and ibu,pastu kite beli,ok?'..he just smile,and put the toys back..he's not crying or melalak nak jugak those toys..he~adorable kan?
i love him...
time nak main kuda pusing2 tu,akim ckp,'yaya,cpt masukkan duit,horse nak jalan'..dia da duk sedia atas horse nak main..hehe..then i checked my wallet,no coins,empty syiling..too bad..then i said,'am sorry akem,yaya xde duit syiling'..he just smile, and still laughing when i took his picture..

ok,today is my 2nd day in KK Bangi, b4 this we were in KK Puchong..same je workload dia, sama je pegi pagi,balik lewat petang (depends on ada lecturer ke x)..and slalunye, in the end of the day, we will gather back and have to have a take home message each and everyone..

today i will like to share my take home message, the one that striking me the most..hoho..

hem, as female medical student, future-wife-and-mother-to-be, and a person, we have to ve some basic knowledge in take care of children..kebanyakan dr has this perception. do not allow your children to use walker forever..bcoz by using walker, ur child will miss some of the developmental criteria that she/he have to master b4 he/she can walk or whatever..act, xde pon conclusive punyer research ckp,if anak u gne walker dia akan lambat buat bende ni, kurang focus or whatever..tp tu la..walker tu boleh membuatkan anak kite miss some of the developmental skills...

next, dr slalunye x galakkan anak gune buaian untuk tidurkan baby. ni pun xde evidence yg konpem kan buaian xleh gn etuk tidokan anak...ehm, tp doctors sependapat buaian ni boleh wat baby dpt 'baby shock syndrome'. maybe dsbbkan oleh buaian yg disentak laju, and boleh sbbkan baby terjatuh dr buaian and sbbkan blood clot kat kpl and dpt pendarahan..bahaya sgt, kematian akhirnye..or cacat part of the body or whatever depends on the condition...

ok , tu je la kot perkongsian ari ni..penat sgt..nak tido sat..

ambulance!

yesterday was such a good day for me,coz for the 1st time in my life, i ride an ambulance!!!!


currently im in family medicine posting in KK Puchong for 2 weeks. and yesterday was my duty in A&E room, where beside being a Dracula (suck up blood), i got the chance to pick up a 70 plus Chinese woman complaining of stroke (of course her husband call the hosp),paralyze half of the body, on the 9th floor condo using a scope and not stretcher and ride an ambulance..wow...

b4 get the ptn, i sat at the back with 2 other MA's. of course they are men, have the ability to pikul org berat2 atas bahu and stuff..and after berjaya menurunkan patient dr tingkat 9 itu, menggunakan lif of course dengan susah payahnye mereka bertiga (including the driver) berjaya bawa masuk ptn beranggaran 80 kg itu kedalam ambulance..then,i sat in front sebelah the driver so i got a better view..maklumlah,ptn's husband ada skali kat blakang tuh..

neenoooneenoooneeenoo....man,it's so cool...........

sume kete kat depan sume bagi laluan..agak mcm VIP..but we r heading to hosp Serdang to send the ptn 4 better treatment..huhu..meanwhile, the MA's already set the IV line..gosh,how they can prick the lady's hand just once??time ambulance tgh gerak2 plak tuh..kite ni,nak amik darah org pun,teragak2, so MA's are superhero dracula...hoho

ok fine,they took blood pressure, pulse, blood glucose and set IV line..basic important needs b4 sent the ptn..

have to practice more and more to be a good dracula..ive injected more than 10 ptn that day, and only a ptn yg x dpt amik..hehe..sorryyyyy

not only to be a good dracula, but have to be a a fast thinker in any situation ie emergency, just like the MA's did..well,i will learn it by experience..insyaAllah...

clinical years

13 Ramadhan..23 Ogos 2010

1st day of year 4 clinical class..which begin with family medicine posting for my group..next will be orthopedics (tulang2) and next will be specialty posting and last one is psychiatry..

quit exciting, yet tiring..this posting need us to travel,again,,around KK Puchong,KK Dengkil and KK Bangi..

ok,1st day..not expect too much..the doctors keep on remind us not to fail!dare to fail!if u didn't pass 2 and more posting, u will repeat the whole year!!!erkkk

im not going to do it.i mean the fail thingy..so,ve to be serious this time around..no more play2..alhamdulillah, yr 3 was over with quit memorable experience and not to say my result..no fail..hehe..perhaps i enjoyed doing all my postings=)

prof cakap,we will have less holidays,BUT it ll compensate our next holiday, which is mean, we will be graduating on July 2012, instead of August 2012...they lengthening our holiday after yr 5, understand that most of the girls want to get married or at least get engaged and so wutever..haha..

ok,that's it..go back to my serious business..study time!
